Panther

So wise and cunning,

looking for prey,

experience taught you,

to hunt this way.

Your piercing eyes search,

for one so weak,

you gracefully prowl up,

clever and sleek.

Your muscles protrude,

with strides you take,

glistening strong body,

hard to forsake.

Longing restrained pant,

eager to pounce,

hungry, you're ready,

savor each ounce.

Unsuspecting prey,

sits all alone,

sink your teeth in its neck,

deep into bone.

The defenseless prey,

frozen, can't move,

captured by the panther,

so sly, so smooth.
