Spring

webscottygeli.jpg

The snow has melted,

The chill is gone,

It's time for winter,

To finally move on.

Sprouting buds on trees,

As March winds blow,

In like a lion,

Like a lamb it will go.

Flowers stretching high,

To greet the sun,

Kids not bundled up,

Laughing and having fun.

Red breasted Robin,

Hops through the day,

Showers washed winter,

So very far away.

Birds greet the morning,

With melody,

Butterflies fly by,

With such grace and beauty.

The snow has melted,

The sun shines bright,

Finally it's spring,

Everything is just right.
